Round eyes, or doe eyes as they are sometimes affectionately called, are identified by showing most or all of the iris with white sometimes showing below the iris.

Hooded eyes have a low fold over the eyelid, so when open, the eyelid isn’t visible and retracts into the crease creating a hooded effect. This can give the eye the appearance of being smaller.

Monolid eyes have little to no crease at all. The trick with lashes for your eyes is to open the eye and give it some height.

You hit the eye shape lottery with your sexy almond eyes, with the pointed corners and slightly wider in the center. The iris is partially hidden by both upper and lower lids. Almond eyes are extremely versatile in what enhances the seducing look of this eye.

Upturned eyes are versatile since they are basically almond eyes with an upward tilt at the outermost corner. This cat-eye is gorgeous in its modelesque appearance.

Downturned eyes have a downward tilt at the outer corners making your upper lid appear larger. This is a vintage look as most of the noted beauties of 1920s had downturned eyes.

The elegant and alluring deep-set are usually large, and the brow bone appears more prominent than the eye. The ends of the natural lash sometimes grazes the top of the eyelids at the brow bone depending on the depth and length of your natural lash.

Close-set eyes are less than an eye width apart and are usually smaller or appear to be smaller. These eyes require a more tapered lash, shorter in the inner corner to center and longer in the outer corners.

If you possess a pair of wide-set eyes they are more than an eye width apart. Most wide set eyes are larger which is always a plus, as larger eyes tend to be more captivating.
